Notes: Sorry about the 'not posting' everyone-- just getting ready for the new FFXIV expansion and getting my main geared for it, I haven't forgotten about icons-- just have been super excited about all the game time I'm gonna invest-- there will also likely be more FFXIV icons as I play through it-- since I'm a creature of enthusiasm and usually icon whatever it is that I'm just sort of grooving on at the moment. I did submit via quickbattle for iconbattles, a themed FFXIV - White Hair Edition set-- Also the rose texture that I'm using in the middle icon of the five set is also a part of a texture set that will eventually be posted to the comm so stay tuned.

+notes: Oh FFVII, such a series that it doesn't really have to share with anyone else. I love/hate FFVII to be honest. When the game first came out, I loved it-- then as I grew up, I sort of was like "MEH" (because the fans, man..) and they were all screaming about yaoi buttsecks and there were pairing wars everywhere and the people who disliked Aerith, loved Tifa and vice versa, repeat AD NAUSEUM. Also, I have had the not-privledge of knowing some OTHERKIN from the series, people who thought that they were the reincarnated versions of Sephiroth/Vincent/Reno. But then I played Crisis Core, and then suddenly it was love again and everything was right in the world. FFVII taught me not to take my fandoms seriously, it's all fun and games-- and that is games spelled G.A.M.E.S, as in FICTIONAL CHARACTERS!~

+notes: I wanted to give the Princess series it's own page because I will never stop being proud of all of these icons I made or the effort I put into such an amazing series. I love this series and I'm gonna sit down and tell y'all why. Back in 2008, my ex girlfriend had left me at home while she and her husband went off to Florida-- it was Christmas, I was lonely and depressed. Then I saw someone posting scanlations on LJ, so I was like "the art looks nice, so why the hell not?" I started reading the first volume, I was off work for the weekend and I had nothing better to do. 16 HOURS LATER I WENT TO BED IN A SOBBING TEARY MESS BECAUSE THAT SERIES DID SOMETHING TO MY FEELS THAT HAD NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE. It was still updating so I had to wait for scanlations along with everyone else (I think that I covered 26 volumes in a 16 hour period, idk how healthy that was in the long run). This series, my friends is WHY I LEARNED HOW TO COLOUR MANGA and I can vouch that 90 percent of these icons started out as 'black and white', which is why I am so proud.

Also my feels, my fucking feels. I will look at certain icons from series and go 'eww what was I thinking' because I am hyper critical of myself, but every single icon I did for the Princess series was a labour of fucking love and in my eyes there is not a bad one out of the entire bunch. +notes: This is the last of the canon-fire of icons with no real targets. as with the previous version, these are icons that really have no niche. Yeah, some of these I know the series but I iconned so few that it didn't justify folder space for it so I dumped it into the 'catch all'. Some of these icons I like, some are like 'wtf' but I made them all-- so they have to be uploaded. (lesson in humilities here, show people the lowest you can go to ground yourself properly!). There are some icons here that I really really like, but as I am not familar with the series, I won't use them.

+note: THESE ARE ICONS THAT DO NOT FIT INTO SOMETHING SPECIFIC. They are either miscellaneous, or I know the series and don't think I will ever icon anything from that series, or they are pretty art. I don't expect them to be used, this is just a dumping ground for them-- there are some RECENT icons in there and I feel with the evolution of my style, they are obvious-- and some of these are so old, they do not have the LIGHT BLOB? (what is this? was that even a thing?)
